Recently I was able to get internet at home for my daughter and I and found this monthly MS magizine. I am very greatful I stumbled upon MS Musings for the literature, humor, and helpfulness I need in my life. I am a single mother on disability that doesn't have time to go beyound my bubbled world and I haven't found a network of others with MS. I enjoy writing and I am in the process of writing some books for I have a little time now in my life thanks to MS. Lol! I have found out there are blessings to being disabled. Thank you!

Hi everyone. Just came across this site while doing a google search on Sue Ellen Dickenson. I am curious about her ideas and suggestions but skeptical regarding online promotions of "cures" and anecdotal evidence. I have been reading a book called "Healing MS" and when I showed the book to my neurologist and asked about starting a candida treatment, he expressed that these types of approaches are like snake oil. Although I currently use Copaxone, I am always looking for the latest greatest treatment and hopefully, the cure. I would like to recommend this fascinating and thorough website which details the possible cause of MS. Go to http /hdfoster.com/ whatreallycausesms.pdf I think this Dr. Hyman is onto something, especially since I have a goiter which was not discovered until several years after my first major MS attack. I am now hypothyroid after showing various symptoms of it for years without detection. I am now focusing on balancing my thyroid as part of my overall MS treatment plan. Best wishes to everybody here. May we speedily find the answers and excellent health we seek! Pam
